Inventory management can be a tedious task, especially in warehouses with large quantities of items to catalog. Cypher Robotics has introduced a new system at Modex that combines an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with a drone to streamline the inventory process. The AMR serves as a launching and landing pad for the drone, providing vertical reach to access inventory at different heights.

The drone, tethered to the inside of the AMR platform, can operate for up to five hours before needing a recharge. This tethered system allows for longer battery life compared to untethered drones.
